Azerbaijan's specialised architecture and construction-engineering university, located in Baku. Founded 1975 as Azerbaijan Construction Engineers Institute by splitting the architecture/construction faculty from Azerbaijan Polytechnic University. Renamed Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzMIU) in 2000.
